ElevAsian empowers underserved businesses around the world through entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and peer-to-peer learning. We connect entrepreneurs with access to capital, resources, and a growing community of like-minded business owners who often lack traditional networks. Through strategic partnerships with community-based organizations, ElevAsian hosts juried pitch contests offering cash prizes, while our cohort program alumni lead dynamic social networking events that foster collaboration and growth.

The Need

While the needs of Asian American Pacific Islander business owners are diverse, analysis of survey data demonstrates consistently the need for trusted resources that can provide culturally competent, one-on-one technical assistance and business counseling.

The Opportunity

Payroll from Asian-owned businesses in Massachusetts tripled from 2002 to 2020 from $1.2 billion to nearly $4 billion respectively and there was a 156% increase in the number of Asian-owned businesses in Massachusetts from 2002-2017.

The Solution

ElevAsian includes a structured curriculum, one-on-one mentoring, peer-to-peer learning, and the social/emotional support that comes from the sense of belonging to a community of like-minded people. ElevAsian provides a safe space for small Asian business owners to pivot from the owner employee mindset to owner strategist one.
